Synovia is proudly Nigerian, and is working towards providing world-class ICT solutions of the highest quality for SME’s, medical services, government establishments, and other businesses at large. We aim at delivering services which will open new possibilities for our customers and allow them to work effectively and creatively.

We intend to boost the Nigerian software and ICT industry in general, by selecting and training Nigerian youths from their prime (starting from their teens). This we do by organizing career seminars in secondary schools, via which we select promising students for training. Trainees that have financial difficulties in paying their fees at the university level, are placed on a partial/full scholarship.

Benjamin Ugbene,

Benjamin UgbeneBenjamin has years of experience and extensive knowledge of web applications development.

Benjamin led the team that developed the e-Registration Portal, and online Admissions/Post UME Portal for the Lagos State University as the Head of the Web Services Unit in the Lagos State University ICT Center. He has also held positions in the IT departments of various organizations including Teledom International.

Apart from a BSc. Honors Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering, Benjamin holds several industry-specific professional certifications which include, Certified Internet Webmaster Associate (CIW A), Certified Internet Webmaster Professional Site Designer (CIWP SD), Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) and a Diploma in Information Systems Management.

Seun Peters,

Seun PetersSeun has in-depth knowledge when it comes to marketing and meeting a target, he is a graduate of Mathematical Science from the Lagos State University.

He has worked with the Lagos State University as an IT assistant and has to his credit several industry certifications which includes Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology from NIIT.

He is renowned as a go getter and believes that nothing is impossible if only you try hard enough.

Sophia Osayimwen,

Creative Director/Director of technical services

Sophia OsayimenSophia believes that if you can think it, she can design it. In other words, with her, your imagination will be taken beyond its limits with her creativity. Sophia is a graduate of Computer Science from Igbinedion University, Okada, Benin City.

She has been involved in the development of several challenging graphical and website projects. She’s passionate about clean and beautiful designs, smart site engineering, and good ol’ fashioned creativity.

To meet the requirements of our customers software needs, Synovia implements a methodology focused on incremental development and use cases.

Incremental Development is based on use cases or use case flows which define working pieces of functionality at the user level. In an increment, the models required to develop a working software increment are each incremented until a working, tested executing piece of software is produced with incremental functionality. This approach:

  • Improves estimation, planning and assessment. Use cases provide better baselines for estimation than traditionally written specifications. The estimates are continuously updated and improved throughout the project.
  • Allows risks to the project to be addressed incrementally and reduced early in the lifecycle. Early increments can be scheduled to cover the most risky parts of the architecture. When the architecture is stable, development can be speeded up.
  • Benefits users, managers and developers who see working functionality early in the lifecycle. Each increment is, effectively, a prototype for the next increment.
